Ingredients:

  1. Mutton 1 kg
  2. Onion 2 (chopped)
  3. Potato 1/2 kg (peeled, cut into small pieces)
  4. Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  5. Garlic paste 1 tsp
  6. Green coriander 1/2 cup (chopped)
  7. Green chilies 4 (chopped)
  8. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  9. Salt 1 1/2 tsp
  10. Red chili powder 1 1/2 tsp
  11. Turmeric 1 tsp
  12. Spice powder 1 tsp
  13. Oil 8 tbsp

Procedure:

Add oil in sauce pan and fry the onion till brown.
Then separate the onion from oil and grind it.
In the same oil add garlic, ginger and fry it for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
Add all dry spices and simmer for 4 minutes, add 1/4 cup water in it to cook.
Then add mutton and onion.
Stir it and cook over low flame for 10 minutes or cook until water dries and mutton changes its color.
After that add 6 cup water and bring to a boil over high flame.
Then turn the flame to medium and cover with half lid and cook until meat gets tenderized.
It may take 40-45 minutes.
When meat tenderizes, add potatoes, green coriander, green chili and lemon juice.
Cover the lid and cook until potatoes cooked, cook it over low flame.
It can be served with boil rice.

Cooking Time: 1 hour
