Ingredients:
- Semolina (sooji) 1 cup
- Sugar 1/2 cup (ground)
- Coconut 1/4 cup (grated)
- Almond 1/4 cup (crushed)
- Pistachio 1/4 cup (crushed)
- Raisins 1/4 cup (soak in water 30 minutes)
- Green Cardamom 3 (crushed)
- Milk 1/2 cup
- Pure ghee 1/2 cup
Procedure:
Heat ghee in frying pan, fry all nuts and raisins.
Then transfer the fried ingredients in a plate.
In same ghee fry cardamoms for 2 minutes.
Then add semolina and fry for 10 minutes over low flame until it changes its color, during whole process stir it continuously.
Add fried nuts, coconut, raisins and sugar, mix all ingredients well.
Add half cup of milk, stir and cook for 2-3 minutes more.
Let it to be cool but not so much.
Make balls from this mixture with tight hands.
When Laddu became totally cool, you can store in an airtight jar.
Keep them in cool place.
