Ingredients:
- Rice 2 cup (boiled)
- Hard cheese 1 cup (cut cubes)
- Onion 1 (chopped)
- Tomato 1 (chopped)
- Garlic cloves 4 (minced)
- Ginger 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Green chili 4 (chopped)
- Salt 2 tsp
- Spice powder 1 tsp
- Cloves 4
- Cinnamon stick 1 (small)
- Whole black pepper 8
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Oil 6 tbsp
Procedure:
Take a pan add oil and fry the cheese cubes until light brown.
Transfer in a plate and keep aside.
In the same sauce pan, add onion and fry until transparent.
Add all dry ingredients and simmer more.
Add rice, mix well and cook for 4 minutes then add 3 cup water.
Cook over high flame until water evaporated, simmer occasionally.
Add the fries cheese cubes in it and mix well.
Cover the lid and cook over low flame for 7 minutes.
Serve with raita.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
