Ingredients:

  1. Fresh green beans 1/2 kg
  2. Dry red chili 6
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Sugar 1 tsp
  5. Black mustard seeds 1 tbsp
  6. Garlic cloves 4 (minced)
  7. Ginger 1tbsp (minced)
  8. Black paper 1/2 tsp (ground)
  9. Oil 6 tbsp

Procedure:

Cut the green beans into small pieces like an inch length.
Boil the water in a sauce pan and when water get boil put the vegetable into it for just 5 minutes.
Drain beans and then put them under cold running water.
Put the oil in an other pan, when it become hot adds the mustard seeds in it.
When they splutter, add garlic, ginger and stir, cook it until brown.
Add the crushed red chili, salt, black paper and stir for 3 seconds.
Add beans and sugar and stir well, then put the lid over pan,
Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
Serve with rice.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Do You Know: Common green beans are also called String Beans or snap beans. These are rich source of vitamin A and vitamin C.
