Ingredients:

  1. Rice 2 cup
  2. Kidney red beans 1 1/2 cup (boiled)
  3. Onion 1 (thinly sliced)
  4. Ginger 2 tbsp (chopped)
  5. Green chili 4 (chopped)
  6. Tomato 2 (chopped)
  7. Salt 2 tsp
  8. Dry red chili 6 (crushed)
  9. Spice powder 1 tsp
  10. Oil 6 tbsp

Procedure:

Wash and soak rice in plenty of water, for 1 hour before cooking.
In a sauce pan add oil.
Fry onion until dark brown.
Add tomatoes, green chili, ginger, simmer until water of tomatoes dry.
Then add all dry ingredients and boiled beans.
Stir and cook for 5-6 minutes over medium flame.
Add 4 cup water, when it became rolling boil, cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
After that drain the rice and add into the gravy.
Stir and simmer over high flame, until water dry.
Cover the lid and steam for 7-8 minutes over low flame.
Serve it with raita.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
