Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour 1 cup
  2. Baking powder 1 tsp
  3. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  4. Milk 1/2 cup
  5. Sugar 1 cup (ground)
  6. Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Almonds, Peanuts 1/2 cup (chopped)
  8. Potatoes 1/2 cup (boiled, mashed)
  9. Oil 1/2 cup

Procedure:

Sift flour, baking powder and cardamom powder together.
Then mix sugar in it.
Take a bowl, add milk, eggs, sugar, oil and beat with an electric beater.
When it get smooth, add flour and beat it more.
When batter became smooth add mash potatoes, almonds and peanuts.
Stir it gently.
Now grease the baking pan with oil.
Pour the prepared mixture in it and place it into preheated oven.
Preheat oven at 350 F, 15 minutes before use.
Bake the cake for 40 minutes.
Transfer it on metal rack and let it cool.
Serve it hot or cold with tea.

Tip: Insert a knife into the cake after 40 minutes, if it comes out clean that means cake is ready, otherwise bake it more for 5-10 minutes.

Cooking Time: 50 minutes
