Ingredients:

  1. Wheat Flour 2 cup
  2. Salt 1 tsp
  3. Ghee 2 tbsp
  4. Warm water for dough
For Filling:
  1. Potatoes 4 (boiled)
  2. Onion 1 (chopped)
  3. Green chili 4 (minced)
  4. Coriander seeds 1 tsp (crushed)
  5. Salt 1 tsp
  6. Red chili powder 1tsp
  7. Green coriander 1/4 cup (chopped)
  8. Ghee 1/2 cup (for frying)

Procedure:

Sift flour with salt and slowly add water, mix well.
Make dough of flour and cover it with a damp cloth.
Keep it in fridge for 1 hour.
Peel and mash potatoes.
Add all other ingredients in mashed potatoes.
Mix well until get smooth.
Make the balls from wheat dough.
Flatten each ball slightly.
Put 2 tbsp filling in the center.
Shape it again in round ball.
Dust with flour and roll out each ball on the board into a round disk of 5 inches.
Put it in a heated frying pan and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
Put 2 to 3 tbsp ghee around the edges and turn it.
Cook until both sides turn golden brown.
Serve with sauce and tea.
Its a very healthy traditional Pakistani recipe.

Preparation Time: 1 hour
Cooking Time: 10 minutes each paratha

Tip: When you want to cook paratha heat up the cooking pan over high flame before use. But when you snap the paratha over surface, cook over medium low flame.
