Ingredients:

  1. Wheat flour 2 cup
  2. Salt 1/2 tsp
  3. Oil 2 tsp
  4. Water (according to need)

Procedure:

Sift the flour. Add oil and salt in it.Gradually add enough water to make soft dough.
Mold the dough for 7-8 minutes until smooth.
Cover the dough with a wet cloth and put aside for half an hour.
Make equal balls from dough and dust with dry flour.
Heat up a griddle or frying pan over high flame.
Take one ball and flatten it between the palms of the hands and dust it with flour on both sides.
Roll out to a 5 inches round roti and slap it onto the heated surface.
Cook on medium flame.
Cook for about a minute, then turn over and cook for a minute on the second side.
If you have a gas stove then use tongs to hold the Roti for 2-3 seconds on flame for both sides.
Transfer in a pepper kitchen towel.
Serve with curry.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes each roti.
