Ingredients:
- Jasmine rice 1 cup
- Jaggery 1 cup
- Clove 4
- Cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Oil 6 tbsp
Procedure:
Wash and soak the rice in plenty of water over night.
Drain the rice and grinder in grinder.
In a sauce pan, add 1 1/2 cup water, when it became rolling boil add jaggery.
Simmer until jaggery resolved and became in the syrup form.
In another sauce pan heat the oil.
Add clove and fry for 1 minute.
Add the grounded rice and pour the jaggery syrup.
Mix well and cook until water evaporated.
Sprinkle the cinnamon powder and lemon juice, cover the lid.
Cook over low flame for 7 minutes.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
