Ingredients:-
- All purpose flour (maida) 1cup
- Baking powder 1 tbsp
- Coco powder 1/4 cup
- Sugar 1 cup (grind)
- Egg 3
- Walnuts 1/2 cup
- Milk 1/4 cup
- Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
- Ghee 1 cup
Procedure:
Strain flour, cardamom powder and baking powder and keep aside.
Mix coco powder in milk and keep aside.
In a bowl add oil and sugar, beat until fluffy.
Then add eggs one by one and beat well.
Add 1 egg at a time beat, first beat it then add the other egg and so on.
Then add sifted flour and beat the mixture until fluffy.
Add walnuts and mix well.
Then add coco-powder milk and mix it.
Total beating time may be 25 minutes at least, if you are using electric beater.
If you are using spoon it may takes 40 minutes.
Grease baking pan with oil and dust with thick layer of cocoa powder.
Then pour the prepared mixture till half of pan.
Bake the cake for at least 30 minutes in preheated oven at 350 degree F.
After 30 minutes, insert a wooden tooth pick in cake, if it comes out clean, it means cake is ready otherwise bake it more 5-10 minutes.
Transfer in a serving dish.
Serve hot or cold.
