Ingredients:

  1. Peas 1/2 cup (boiled, mashed)
  2. Potato 5 (small, boiled)
  3. Carrot 2 (cut in strips)
  4. Green bell pepper 1 (cut in strips)
  5. Red bell pepper 1 (cut in strips)
  6. Potato 2 (cut in strips)
Dressing:
  1. Lemon juice 1/2 cup
  2. Salt 1/4 tsp
  3. Black pepper 1/2 tsp (ground)
  4. Ginger 1/4 tsp
  5. Dry red chili 4 (crushed)
  6. Cumin seed 1 tbsp (ground)
  7. Oregano 1 tsp
  8. Oil 1 tbsp

Procedure:

In a sauce pan heat the oil, add cumin seed, when splutter, add all other spices.
Cook for 1 minute then add lemon juice.
Stir and simmer for 4 minutes over medium flame and keep aside.
In a sauce pan heat the 8 cup water.
When water start rolling boil, add carrot and bell pepper strips.
Cook for 3 minutes over high flame and strain.
In a bowl mix all vegetables.
Pour the dressing and mix well.
Serve hot.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
