Ingredients:

  1. Garlic 1 cup (shredded)
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. Whole cloves 4
  4. Spice (garam masala) powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Salt 1/2 tsp
  6. Red pepper 6 (crushed)
  7. Vinegar 4 tbsp
  8. Ghee 1/4 cup

Procedure:

Heat the ghee in a sauce pan.
Add garlic, all spices expect vinegar, stir and fry for 10 minutes.
Add sugar, stir for 2 minutes.
Cover the lid and cook for 30 minutes over low flame, stir after every 5 minutes.
Then stir continuously until sugar water dries up, add vinegar and cook for 2 minutes only.
It’s ready now.
Allow it to be cool.
You can preserve it in an air tight jar.
Put it in cool place.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes
