Ingredients:

  1. Rice 2 cup
  2. Onion 1/2 cup (crushed)
  3. Raisins 1/2 cup (soak in water)
  4. Peas 1 cup
  5. Potatoes 2 small (cut in cubes)
  6. Water 2 cup
  7. Salt 2 tbsp
  8. Black pepper 1 tsp (powder)
  9. Vinegar 1 tsp
  10. Oil 1/2 cup

Procedure:

Wash the rice and soak in plenty of water for 1 hour before cooking.
Add oil in sauce pan and fry onion in it until get light brown.
Add peas and potatoes, fry for 5-8 minutes.
Add salt and black pepper, stir for 1 minute.
Add 2 cup water, cover the lid and cook for 6-7 minutes over medium flame.
Drain the rice and add into the cooked gravy and mix well.
Cook over high flame, when water becomes dry, add vinegar and raisins and mix once.
Cover the lid and cooked for 8 minutes over low flame.
Serve with sauce.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
