Ingredients:
- Milk 2 ltr
- Almonds 1/2 cup (crushed)
- Raisin 1/2 cup (soak in water)
- Sugar 2 cup
- Rice 1/2 cup
- Green Cardamom 5
- Corn Flour 2 tbsp
Procedure:
Soak rice in water for about 30 minutes before cooking.
Boil the milk in a sauce pan.
Drain the rice and add to the milk, cook about 30 minutes over low flame until rice and milk become combined, stir it continuously.
Add sugar, cardamoms and cook for 15 minutes.
Take corn flour in a bowl, mix with 4 tbsp cold milk, no lump should be there.
Add this mixture into the boiling kheer, stir constantly and keep cooking for 2-3 minutes.
Its ready now, dish it out and garnish with crushed almonds.
It could be served hot or chilled.
