Ingredients:

  1. Chicken 1 kg (12 pieces)
  2. Onion 2 (skinned, chopped)
  3. Garlic 2 tsp (grind)
  4. Ginger 2 tsp (grind)
  5. Green chilies 6 (sliced)
  6. Green coriander 1/4 cup (chopped)
  7. Tomato 4 (chopped)
  8. Salt 1 tsp
  9. Red chili powder 1/2 tbsp
  10. Turmeric 1 tsp
  11. Spice powder 1 tsp
  12. Oil 1/2 cup

Procedure:

Wash the chicken.
Add chicken, salt, red pepper, turmeric, onion, garlic and ginger in a sauce pan.
Add 2 cups of water and cook over high flame, when it became rolling boil turn the flame to medium and cover with lid.
Cook until chicken half cooked and stir it occasionally.
Then add tomatoes and cook until whole water evaporated.
Add oil, stir and simmer for 7-8 minutes over low flame.
Keep stirring all the time during cooking.
You may have to add water to prevent from sticking at the bottom then add little water.
When oil became separates that means chicken is ready.
Now add 1 cup water if you need some gravy and cook for 10 minutes over low flame.
Add spice powder, coriander leaves and green chilies, stir well, and transfer to a serving dish.
Serve with boil rice.

Cooking Time: 1 hour
