Ingredients:

  1. Fish fillets 1/2 kg
  2. Wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Salt 1/2 tsp
  4. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  5. Soya sauce 1/2 cup
  6. Vinegar 1/4 cup
  7. Egg 1(beaten)
  8. Oil (for frying)

Procedure:

Wash the fish and dry with paper towel.
Cut the fish into fingers of normal size.
Place the fish in a large bowl, add vinegar, soya sauce, salt and pepper.
Rub gently, with hands, to coat the fish pieces.
Cover it and keep aside, to marinate for about 1 hour.
Drain the excess marinade.
Dip the fish fingers, one at a time, in the egg, and then roll in the flour.
Set all pieces in a dish.
Now heat the oil in a wok for deep fry.
Fry the fish over medium flame, until golden brown.
Transfer over paper towel and serve hot.
Serve with ketchup.

Cooking Time: 40 minutes
