Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg (small pieces)
- Onion 2 (chopped)
- Ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Garlic 1 tsp (minced)
- Green chili paste 1 tbsp
- Tomatoes 3 (chopped)
- Green coriander 1/2 cup (chopped)
- Salt 1 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
- Dry coriander 1 tsp (grounded)
- Spice powder 1 tsp
- Oil 6 tbsp
Procedure:
Heat the oil and fry the onion, until light pink.
Add all dry ingredients and simmer for 3 minutes.
Add ginger, garlic, green chili paste and tomatoes, cook until oil separates.
Add chicken and cook for minutes more.
Add 2 cup water, stir well, cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes over low flame.
Remove the cover, stir and simmer for more 10 minutes.
When chicken tenderized, sprinkle green coriander and cover the lid.
Cook for 3-4 minutes over low flame.
Transfer in a serving bowl.
Serve it with roti.
