Ingredients:

  1. Tamarind/Imli 1 cup
  2. Brown sugar 1 cup
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  5. Spice powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Oil 1 tbsp

Procedure:

Soak tamarind in water for 4-6 hours in 1 1/2 cup water.
Then separate its seeds.
Take a sauce pan, add soaked tamarind with its water and sugar.
Cover the lid and cook over low flame, until get thick, and stir occasionally.
Then add oil, salt, red chili powder and cook for 4 minute more.
Stir continue, It’s ready.
Allow it to get completely cool.
You can preserve it in an air tight jar for 15 days or more.

Preparation Time: 6 hour
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
