Ingredients:

  1. Milk 2 ltr
  2. Rice 1 cup
  3. White sugar 1 1/2 cup (ground)
  4. Almonds 1/4 cup (sliced)
  5. Pistachios 1/2 cup (sliced)
  6. Green cardamom 4 (crushed)

Procedure:

Wash rice and soak in plenty of water over night.
Next day drain them and grind rice with 1 cup cold milk and keep aside.
Boil 7 cup milk, add cardamom in it.
Cook it for 15 minutes over medium flame, stir constantly.
After 15 minutes, add rice mixture in it , stir constantly.
Cook it for 7-8 minutes and add sugar in it.
Now stir it constantly and cook for 15 minutes, until it became thick.
Remove it from heat and transfer in serving bowl.
Garnish with pistachio and almond.
Let it cool at room temperature.
Then cover it and keep in fridge for 2-3 hours.

Note: Firni could served hot or cold.

Cooking Time: 50 minutes
Chill Time: 3 hour
