Ingredients:

  1. Milk 2 ltr
  2. Water 1 ltr
  3. Sugar 1 cup
  4. Dry Dates 20
  5. Green cardamoms 8 (crushed)
  6. Noodle 1 cup
  7. Pistachio 1/4 cup (chopped)
  8. Coconut 1/2 cup (dried)
  9. Almond 1/2 cup (chopped)
  10. Raisin 1/2 cup
  11. Pure ghee 1/2 cup

Procedure:

Soak dates,raisins and coconut in water for 2 hours.
Then thinly slice them.
Add milk, water, 5 dried dates and cardamoms in a sauce pan.
Boil on slow flame for 2 hours.
When 1 1/2 liter milk is left, remove it from heat.
Take another sauce pan and heat ghee.
Add crushed cardamom, when they pop and splutter, add noodles.
Fry for 5-6 minutes, stir continuously.
Add pistachios, coconut, almond, raisins and dates and fry for 2 minutes more.
Now add warm milk in it and stir.
Bring to boil and cook for 15 minutes over medium flame.
Add sugar and cook until sugar completely dissolve, it may takes 10 minutes at least.
Serve hot or chilled.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
