Ingredients:

  1. Rice 2 cup (soak in water)
  2. Apple 2 (chopped)
  3. Green grapes 1/2 cup
  4. Black grapes 1/2 cup
  5. Raisins 1/2 cup (soak in water)
  6. Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  7. Black cardamom 2
  8. Clove 4
  9. Fennel seed 1 tbsp
  10. Black pepper 5
  11. Cinnamon 2 sticks (small)
  12. Dry coconut 4 tbsp (grated)
  13. Sugar 1/2 cup
  14. Salt 1/2 tsp
  15. Oil 6 tbsp

Procedure:

In a sauce pan heat the oil.
Fry cumin seeds and all other spices.
Add sugar, salt and 3 cup water.
Cover the lid and cook for 5-6 minutes over medium flame.
Add the drained rice.
Cook over high flame until water dry up.
Then add all fruits, coconut and mix well.
Cover the lid and cook for 8 minutes over low flame.
Transfer the rice in dish and serve hot.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Do You Know: Condensed milk is produced by cow’s milk. Water from the fresh milk is removed and sugar is to be added, and make it very thick. It can be stored for long time without refrigeration if its not opened.
