Ingredients:

  1. Rice 2 cup (boiled)
  2. Mushrooms 1/2 kg
  3. Onion 1 (sliced lengthwise)
  4. Green chilies 6 (sliced lengthwise)
  5. Ginger paste 1 tsp
  6. Garlic paste 1 tsp
  7. Salt 2 tsp
  8. Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
  9. Spice powder 1 tbsp
  10. Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  11. Milk 1/4 cup
  12. Oil 4 tbsp

Procedure:

Wash rice and soak in double quantity water for 1 hour before cooking.
Wash mushrooms, and cut them into halve.
Take a pan, boil plenty of water, add 1/2 tsp oil and mushrooms simmer for 15 minutes until mushroom tender and then drain out.
In a sauce pan, add oil and fry onion until pink.
Then add ginger, garlic paste and green chili, simmer 2 minute.
Add all dry spices, cook for 3-4 minutes.
Then add drained mushrooms fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add milk and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add boiled rice and mix well.
Cover the lid and cook over low flame for 5-8 minutes.
Serve hot with curry.

Tip: when you cooked rice and use onion, cut it lengthwise, it’ll be easy to resole and cook.

Cooking Time: 20 minutes
