Ingredients:
- Peas 1 cup
- Tomatoes 4 (chopped)
- Onion 1 (chopped)
- Ginger 1 tsp
- Green coriander 1/4 cup (chopped)
- Green chili 3 (minced)
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Dry red chili 4 (crushed)
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Spice powder 1/2 tsp
- Dry fenugreek leaves (methi) 3 tbsp
- Fresh cream 6 tbsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
Procedure:
Take a sauce pan and heat oil.
Add onion and fry until its color changed to light pink.
Add ginger paste and simmer for 1 minute.
Add peas and fry for 4-5 minutes.
Then add tomatoes and all dry ingredients.
Stir and cook over medium flame until water of tomato evaporated.
Then add cream and dry fenugreek leaves (methi), stir once and cover the lid.
Cook over low flame until peas tenderized and gravy become smooth.
Then add lemon juice, green chili, green coriander and cook for 2 minutes over medium flame.
It can be served with boiled rice or paratha.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes
