Ingredients:

  1. Okra 1/2 kg (cut small pieces)
  2. Onion 1/2 kg (skinned, chopped)
  3. Green Coriander 1/2 cup (chopped)
  4. Green chili 4 (minced)
  5. Tomato 2 (chopped)
  6. Eggs 3
  7. Salt 1 tsp
  8. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric 1 tsp
  10. Spice powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  12. Oil 1/2 cup

Procedure:

Add little salt and black pepper in beaten eggs.
Fry okra in heated oil until became light brown, then take out in a dish.
In the same oil, fry onion, when it became pink, add all spices and tomato.
Cook until water of tomatoes became evaporated.
Then a add fried okra and cook for 6 minutes, stir constantly, cook it over medium flame.
After that add beaten eggs and stir constantly, cook for 2-3 minutes.
Then add lemon juice, green chili and coriander, stir once.
Cover with tight lid and cook for 5 minutes over low flame.
Serve with roti.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes

  1. There are some really great culinary shows on Dawnnews. “For the Love of Food” is really interesting because the host goes around various cities and tries out the food at many restaurants, ranging from smaller desi ones, to fancier continental restaurants.
    A “Taste of Fusion” is another great show where they give u recipes on how to combine western dishes with eastern ones.
